The Full-of-Fun Litter--Spunky, Sport, Jester and Jolly

Jester

Jester

Born: July 8, 2024

Orange tabby and white, shorthair

Male, neutered

Vax, dewormed, no special needs

One of a  litter of 9 from the San Bernardino Shelter Like most of the kittens from that shelter,, they arrived underweight, and sick with upper respiratory infections, gastric issues and more.

A Good Samaritan had taken the litter to the shelter after they witnessed a dog kill the mother cat.

They are now happy, loving and playful boys, ready to explore and enjoy life with families of their own.

They love people and are total purr babies!

These boys really will do better as pairs or with a kitten friend, they love other kittens!

Sport

Spunky

Sport

Born: July 8, 2025

White w/black spots, shorthair

Male, not yet neutered

(he is much smaller than his siblings and the vet wants him to grow up some more first).

Vax and dewormed

Special needs--fused toes, neuter

is on hold until he grows up some more

There is something different about Sport--he has unusual toes on his front feet, they sort of look like lobster claws! He doesn't let that slow him down, however! He can climb with the best of his brothers, although he can't always grip as well with those toes and sometimes has trouble getting down from high places. For this reason, we will only adopt him to someone dedicated to his care, willing to keep up with his nail trims and make sure he only has the safest climbing toys and trees.

He's a very happy, loving kitten who always wants to know what his humans are up to! He loves people!

After a slow start, they are now happy, loving and playful boys, ready to explore and enjoy life with families of their own.

These boys really will do better as pairs or with a kitten friend. We are especially hoping that Sport's adopter will consider adopting one of his siblings, as they know how to play with each other and spend a lot of time together.

Spunky is very inquisitive, he looks like he might be a big boy! He loves to explore and always wants to know what is happening where. He is playful and fun, and just a nice guy!

Spotlight on: Spunky

Spunky is a big love of a kitty! He loves churros and playing, full speed ahead! He lets you know he's into you by checking in and giving head bumps in-between chasing toys and exploring.

Spunky has big bursts of energy, but then settles back down. He would rather play with you than snuggle, and will most likely become much more snuggly as he ages.

Spunky likes people! He is always curious about what humans are doing and wants to join in! He also lives with  his brothers and would love to go home with one of them!

Spunky should be able to fit into nearly any family--he's friendly and outgoing, playful but not crazy all the time. He has some brothers with a similar purr-sonality, too.

Don't overlook Spunky--he's really a good boy with a great temperament, and will make a great friend for life!

Spotlight on: Sport

Sport is always on the go! He's full of purrs and head butts, freely given in-between running around playing and tackling toys!

This photo shows off a couple of Sport's unique features--his fused toes on his front foot (both front feet have the condition) and his shorter-than-normal tail.

Sport is a lovely, smaller sized boy, curious and totally unique!

Sport doesn't know he is different, and is a loving, confident boy!

Because of his front toes, he is able to climb, but doesn't really have a proper "grip," so can't always hold on for long.  Since the toes themselves aren't straight, some of his claws come out at odd angles and  an adopter will need to be vigilant about keeping his claws trimmed--not his favorite thing.

Sport has spots!

He's cute as can be!

We would prefer he go with one of his siblings--he is particularly close to his "twin," Spunky--simply because they all know how to play with him without bullying or dominating him. All the siblings are very close to each other, so he would be happy with any of them.
