Special needs--fused toes
There is something different about Sport--he has unusual toes on his front feet, they sort of look like lobster claws! He doesn't let that slow him down, however!
He's a happy, affectionate kitten who loves people and gets along great with other kittens.
He can climb, although he can't always grip as well with those toes and sometimes has trouble getting down from high places. For this reason, we will only adopt him to someone dedicated to his care, willing to keep up with his nail trims and make sure he only has the safest climbing toys and trees.
One of a litter of 9 from a busy Southern CA shelter that often kills underage kittens. Like most of the kittens from that shelter, they arrived underweight, and sick with upper respiratory infections, gastric issues and more.
A Good Samaritan had taken the litter to the shelter after they witnessed a dog kill the mother cat.
Sport is a silly boy and would be a great fit for someone who recognizes how different he is and how special that makes him! He truly is one of a kind!
Spotlight: Sport
Sport is always on the go! He's full of purrs and head butts, freely given in-between running around playing and tackling toys! And look at those crazy toes!
This photo shows off a couple of Sport's unique features--his fused toes on his front foot (both front feet have the condition) and his shorter-than-normal tail.
Sport is a lovely, smaller sized boy, curious and totally unique!
Sport doesn't know he is different, and is a loving, confident boy!
Because of his front toes, he is able to climb, but doesn't really have a proper "grip," so can't always hold on for long. Since the toes themselves aren't straight, some of his claws come out at odd angles and an adopter will need to be vigilant about keeping his claws trimmed--not his favorite thing.

He's cute as can be!
Growing up with 8 siblings, he gets along with most kitties, male or female. If they are friendly, he can make friends!
We don't know why Sport is the last kitten left, but please don't keep him waiting! He may be different, but he is very deserving of a home of his own and someone who loves him for who is he!
