Tiger
About a year old
Male, neutered
Silver tabby, shorthair
Photo of Tiger when adopted. He's a bit bigger now, at just over 10 pounds.
Tiger is a sweet, sweet boy and one of our very rare returned kitties. His adopter did not follow through with having him neutered, and he began to spray. We have had to have him revaccinated, as his records were also lost.
He is now neutered, fully vaccinated and dewormed. He is negative for FIV, FeLv and heartworm.
His veterinarians and staff described him as calm, friendly and a social interactor. He can be a bit nervous for a couple of days in a new environment, but once he settles in, he becomes his normal, affectionate self.
Adopters will need to understand the concept of taking it slow, keeping him in an enclosed area initially so that he becomes comfortable and learns where the litter box is, and to be prepared for a playful, happy young cat with a lot of love to share!
More about Tiger coming soon! He didn't want to sit still for his photo session--picture taken when he was about 6 months old.
