Blue, short hair
About 1 1/2 years old
This lovely Russian-blue-colored boy was dumped in Arizona, hence the name. He was turned out in a mobile home park, where the management wages war on ferals--the humans do not want the cats there.
He was saved by a lovely lady and her husband who have been a fabulous friend to the felines that have crossed their path. They made the long journey to CA when no other rescue near them would help.
This guy is super friendly and would run for his life, shaking in terror, from the ferals. Sadly, they did manage to beat him up more than once. But that's all over now!
Everyone at our local vet's office, High Valley Vet Clinic, loves this guy! He is just sooo darn sweet and friendly! He can't get enough human affection, he just loves everybody!
He would be a great shop cat! He is a big boy, with a lot of laid-back presence.
Arizona is a neutered male, up-to-date on his vaccinations. He has been microchipped. He is FeLuk negative, but FIV positive. FIV is not as contagious as FeLuk--basically, other cats can only get the disease from a cat bite. We would prefer he go to a home with other cats with the same condition, or he should be the only cat in the residence!
He's got a great life ahead of him--we're looking for that special someone to give him the chance to live it!

Black & white spotted; one blue eye and one green eye, shorthair
Snoopy is a sweet older cat. She has been an indoor cat her entire life.
She is a beautiful black and white shorthair. She has one blue eye and one green eye.
She sadly lost her home when her owner was put into an assisted living facility. Snoopy is mourning the loss of her owner and her home, and will need patience and time to adjust.
She knew her owner's voice and would jump into her lap when called. She would spend as much time being petting as she could. She slept on her owner's bed at night. No one in the family was interested in taking her--they actually planned on kicking her outside once her owner was away.
She will need a quiet indoor home with a regular routine and an owner who enjoys taking care of her.
She is spayed and up-to-date on her shots. She is microchipped. She has a heart murmur and may need medication--we are waiting for test results to determine the next best steps.
UPDATE: Snoopy's first sets of tests revealed she has a heart murmur. She is now scheduled to meet with a specialist and have more tests done to determine how mild or severe her condition actually is. Please keep your fingers crossed for our sweet older gal!
